Playing West Park at Bramham is always a case of luck of the toss .Those winner always play up the considerable slope first half this was the reason for a game of two halve
With a team that board no resemblance to the team that played so well last week Wath did start with some vigure a penalty by Jack Whitlam and a converted try by James McCarthy gave Waths travelling supporters hope. But these were soon dashed by injury to Waths outstanding player Joey Minshul. Wayward kicking and worg options soon became the order of the day however a fine try by Steve Mason allowed Wath to change ends with a respectable 18-3 lead
In the second half Waths coaches should have told their team there was no law about ball possession. West Park had no problem with their dominance, how wath kept them to 17 points could have been down to luck.
Then luck ran out last play one minute into injury time drop goal as an aside Adam West journey into captaincy deserved a better result
