Our first team claimed their first ever away win at Wensleydale – a huge milestone for the club. It wasn’t pretty at times; we made hard work of it and should have added to the score before half-time. We know we need to be more ruthless and clinical in those key moments.

Conditions were far from ideal and the pitch didn’t help matters either. Ex-Colt Robben Bramhall stood out with an excellent performance, while the referee… let’s just say he was definitely from North Yorkshire!

Despite conceding through our own errors, the lads dug in and got the job done. A great win on the road and one to build on.

Our development team had their first test in a higher league and the score line didn't reflect a great performance from a squad of youth and experience. A couple of breakaway tries flattered the opposition and with a front row with a combined age of 387 we dominated in the set pieces
